I awoke this morning at about 3 to discover my room was FILLED with ferret
musk--worse than I've ever smelled it, and totally filling the room. I had
to turn the purifier up all the way and vacate the room before I could sleep
again. My one ferret, Scooter, is a 15-month-old neutered non-descented
male with no real health problems, aside from an allergy to an undetermined
substance that causes him to cough sometimes (hopefully it'll be gone after
we move soon). I've never seen him spray so much, and I've never heard of
another ferret doing this. Is it anything to worry about?
