alright--i can get wood pellets delivered to me here in sarasota, but i
have to get 200 dollars worth!  that's a TON (literally) of litter!  if
anyone's interested in going in on this with me, it's $4 per 40-pound bag.
let me know if you want some, how much you want... if i have enough people
who want it to make it doable, i'll do the order and coordinate delivery
and suchlike.  i don't have enough garage space to keep it all for people
to come pick up, but i might be able to work something out with Lowe's
where they could hold it for pickup once i paid and i could give them a
list of who and how much...

apparently it's much like feline pine, but WAY cheaper!
