Amy -- well said RE: MF ferrets.  I agree with you wholeheartedly!
 
And about ferret `downers'.  Dr. Williams, please correct me if I'm wrong,
but I tried to have Dr. Kawasaki dose some for my ferrets for the plane ride
back to Illinois from Virginia, and the dosage needed is just too small.
Ferrets are very sensitive and there's just about no way to measure the tiny
dose they would need.  The best idea is to tire them out.  Although, speaking
as one who often has some wine around, I found letting them have a sip of
that an intriguing idea! ;)  Would that be harmful?
 
I wrapped my door at the Vet Med Fraternity house with Christmas paper and
ribbon and a bow, and then stuck two stockings with Trella and Tribble's
names on them on the door.  I quite like it!
 
I'm terribly sorry about Charli -- my condolences.
 
Keeping my fingers crossed for Loki.
