Well, I have a LOT of trouble with the "All ferrets do not bite" statement.
Of course, some ferrets bite!  I've MET ferrets that bite, and people have
posted here about ferrets that bite.
 
How 'bout "Not all ferrets bite" as an alternative?  I could go for that.
Some ferrets do bite, some don't.
