My rescues Bonnie & Clyde are approx. 4YO MF 'products.' Bonnie is
very excitable and energenic on average, while Clyde has always taken a
bit of coaxing to get wound up and play. Lately, Clyde has experienced
diarrhoea on increasing occasions, and exhibits a lack of energy. He
has lost about 5-10% weight since Christmas. Having had 7 prior fuzzies
since 1996, I know some health issue is coming/already here.

Their diet consists of Zupreem Premium; 8-In-1 Ultra-Blend Advanced
Nutrition; and Waltham Kitten (...major sin? no reaction for 1.5 years).
Their treats are Ferretone regularly (2x a day at bedtime), and Nutrical
and Laxatone v.sparingly as needed. Purified water, and that's it.
(...and stolen dry cat food on occasion)

I need the collective knowledge from your recent experiences, as well as
the time tested standards like the 'duck recipe' that I cannot find at
this time. Clyde will not eat chicken babyfood at the moment, as many of
my marginal ones did in the past.

I know I have no need to explain how precious ferrets are to you all; I
just hope that something can help him (and me) improve Quality Of Life
til the inevitable end.

I know MF'ers have had a bad rap with adrenal and other diseases, but
Clyde is My Ferret and not just Marshall Farms output!!!

Please post response to [log in to unmask] directly, Thank You.

Hug the fuzzies today, twice.

Missing Miss Katt, Susie, Rocky, Calvin, Snowy, Starr, and Hobbes while
they play at The Bridge. Cherishing Bonnie & Clyde.
