When you call, have this information ready: sex, whether neutered, age,
weight, chemical name of poison, signs or symptoms, amount ingested, how
exposed, date and time of ingestion.
 
Also, place the phone number of your After Hours Vet Emergency Clinic (if
you don't know it, ask you regular vet) in an easily accessible location.
Deliver/mail the FML regular and medical FAQs to your After Hours Emergency
Clinic.
