Just wondering what zoo you were referring to in SouthCentral Michigan.  I
never know how different people divide up the state so I won't bother to
guess.  I live in East Lansing and the local zoo, Potter Park is supposed to
have a great program with ferrets.  They have a little one right now who is
about 4 years old, named Marty.  She is just the sweetest thing.  The first
day I met her, she curled up in my *hands* and went to sleep.  Anyway, they
use the ferrets in some sort of youth education program.  Maybe you could
contact Potter Park to talk to this other zoo.  Dr.  Sikarskie is the vet.
there (I think he is the only one?) and I am sure he'd be glad to help.
