A few months ago my wife and I took a trip from LA to SF on the I-5, with
our ferret Pixel. Pixel prefered to spend the trip asleep on my lap,
instead of in her cage. While going thru the Gorman Pass a big-rig started
to pace us along side, and the driver started to wave and gesture to us. At
first we where both really annoyed, because the Gorman Pass is a dangerious
part of I-5, and he should be watching the road and not us. When I next
looked at him his co-pilot/wife was holding TWO FERRETS up to the window.
They where traveling with two ferrets in a big rig sleeper cab. We never
saw the truck again after that, but it was an amusing strange encounter.
