we just had a little excitement... poor tommy in his church-going
clothes!!!
he was walking out the door to go to church...pushing all the kids
trying to help back in the door...when CabbyBear [Cadbury] went 100
miles an hour out the door...onto the porch...
now...we have been lax in gardening...there were weeds growing up and
over the floor of the porch/deck...Cabby kept running in to them...then
there was this little shelf thing out there...that tommy was supposed to
be doing something with...yeah right!...and Cabby kept running behind
that so i could not catch him...so i grabbed that and threw it across
the deck...wrong move...Cabby jumped off the porch...went around the end
of it...[me being scared because next door has 2 big dogs!]...then when
tommy grabbed for him...he ran UNDER the deck...great...at this point
all we could do was follow his progress...thank GOD it was sealed to
under the trailer!!!!...i sent tommy in for ferretone and ferretvite...
he [cabby] would come up to them...want to have some...but not enough to
stick his head out...[the under of the deck is closed in with Lattice]...
he is too smart for that...there were things to play with under there!!!
...just when tommy said he was going to go change into old clothes so he
could go under there and get him...he [cabby] went down to the other end
and started to come out...i grabbed him!!!...phew!!!!...a wet, [been
raining] excited baby, he was...LOL...but a relieved mommy and daddy...
the BRAT!!!!
tommy was late to church i am sure...but he finally got to leave...
LOL..it prolly only took 5 minutes...but it seemed an eternity!!!!
guess i need to go find him and put him up so i can let Holly our for a
while...:)
sheesh!!!!...that is the first escapee we have had here...
