Certainly here in the UK there haven't been monovalent canine distemper
vaccines available for some years now, and ADV doesn't seem (yet?) to
be the problem that it's become in the States.  That could just be
coincidence of course.
 
One of the multivalent (dog) vaccines commonly used on ferrets in
the UK is Nobivac DHPPi, which as well as protecting against canine
distemper (D) and parvovirus (P) also protects against hepatitis (H) and
parainfluenza (Pi), neither of which are risks for ferrets, but their
inclusion seems to cause no harm.  It's very interesting as well that
the occurrence of serious adverse events in ferrets after the use of
multivalent vaccines like Nobivac seems to be far lower than what's being
reported in the States with the monovalent vaccines available there.
