I mailed a box of 12 12oz jars of chicken gravy for a friend.
Unfortunately, UPS thought the box was a football or something, and
damaged the box and discarded the contents. :-(

They are saying the box was inadequately packed and refusing to pay for
the value. I plan to argue. What were all 12 jars broken??

Anyway, besides the value of 12 canning jars, I need an approprimate
value of the contents, which they identified as "some kind of processed
meat". Anyone have a reasonable guess? I was thinking $5/jar.
