Some of you will probably be relieved to hear that the screen has been
installed in my apartment window, so that Max and Edgar can no longer
escape.  Now I just need to train them not to scratch it.  And not poop on
the rug.  And not bite my toes in the middle of the night.  And not carry
food to my bedroom...etc...etc...
