Someone typed in that they had a terrified ferret, and I think I am a little
late on the subject.  But anyway, I had had the same problem.  When I first
adopted Slinkey, she had been just ridiculously terrified of heights.  I
figured that she may be blind; I decided to have her take the test.  I
flopped a fuzzy thing in her face, but she blinked her eyes.
 
After that, I just was going to let things go.  She later became the most
loving and affectionate pet.  Slinkey waddles up to me now to be held.  I
hope whoever typed that message will help overcome the ferrets fear.
