It is with a heavy heart that I write this to all of my friends and
family.

My little cousin, Jairess Hearn, who has battled cancer (Acute Lymphocytic
Leukemia) since 1994, when she was only 4 years old is now dying. She
has gone through numerous cancer treatments and recently a bone marrow
transplant. She was rushed to the hospital and found to have two spots
of fungus on her brain. They cannot treat it. There is nothing the
doctors can do but keep her comfortable. She may have a couple hours or
a couple days. She is on morphine right now for the pain.

Jairess is one of those kids that you just don't see very often. She is
so smart and so full of life. She lived each moment to the fullest and
always with a smile. Her courage, perseverance and endurance has helped
everyone that she has come into contact with.

Sandee, please show her the bridge and help her cross over. She never
had a chance to know about ferrets but she did love all animals. Please
help her.

Please remember that life is too short. Don't put off hugging the one you
love for you may never get another chance. Take the risks and do what you
feel is right in your heart.

I ask you to please say a prayer tonight for her and her family. Soon,
Jairess will never feel pain again, she will be resting with God and
forever be happy and healthy.
