Those ferret tails really do smell like flowers!  I also had read the post
where someone said they did.  First time I sniffed my 1st ferret tail, I
thought, "Boy am I glad no one else is around to see this!" All the tails
smelled like the same bunch of flowers.  Really fragrent & nice.  Now
<sigh> I am a hooked ferret tail sniffer.  They have the same sweet smell
no matter when you sniff them.
