I don't know how to begin. My life changed forever on Feb. 11. My dear
Miss Jezebel, Queen of Thieves, crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Her great
ability to fly, her great intelligence and her great curiosity all
contributed to her end. She somehow got onto a freestanding table, got into
my purse and took my bottle of advil. She managed to open the child-proof
cap and ate several of them. We didn't find her until it was too late,
laying in the tube system she loved. I still can't think about it much.
She took with her a very large piece of my heart. I miss her.

I have posted the following before, but hope everyone doesn't mind reading
it again.

Queen of Thieves
For love of Jezebel, I oft wonder
    Why my heart is captured; the choice not mine--
She steals it, taking it as her plunder.
    No use to her--it's just another find.
The way she dances, circles round my feet,
    Prisoner am I to joy and laugh--caged!
She entwines my heart even while I sleep.
    But then turning  to see, I am enraged;
Clenched tightly in mouth--smile still apparent,
    She is off running with her latest prize.
Treasure safe as my heart--not evident,
    To where I know not, no matter its size.
Her weasel ways have prisoner made me;
    Accepting fate, this circumstance must be.

Margaret and the very sad Zick Zoo
