Susan Malone is expecting some healthy silver mitts in April that should
be healthy and handsome babies. Thank you all for all of your help in
locating this excellent breeder recommended with the highest complements I
could imagine.

Wolf, my 5 pound alpha ferret is a silver mitt. He is just about the most
handsome ferret I have ever seen.Oh--- He is not ethereal, exquisite, and
dreamlike: like White Russian that Judy has. He has the markings of a
husky: dark silver cheeks, large brown eyes, solid black nose, four solid
white mitts. The adorable facial structure of a hampster: And packed with
muscle. At least he did before all of the cancers.

He has never missed the litter box.

He is kind to old ferts, babies, and new ferts on his home ground or
away.He is a firm but fair boss to all ferrets living here. He is highly
intellegent. He comes when I call. He nods his head twice when he wants
me to pay attention to him and is acknowledging me.

He rolls over, sits, and begs on command for a ferret-bite treat, and
follows me around outside without me having to hold his leash. I thought
he was the average ferret in these ways. I see now how very lucky I have
been.

Every morning I hold Wolf up and look at his face. I feel like I am
looking at one of the faces of God. For here is a creation that to me is
more handsome than the most handsome man. And I dated two of THE top
models in Chicago (Before the ice age, dearie)

It is the black nose that is the clincher for me.

Susan is expecting baby SILVER ferrets that will NOT be riddled with all
the cancers Wolf has had. They will not bite others as Wolf has all of his
life, or have chronic coughing problems as Wolf has had from being reared
in Pine bedding. But they will not have a black nose.

Silly to be hung up on a black nose in a silver mitt that will often fade
with age. But that is a part of the dream ferret I selfishly want.

I am not stupid. I see the writing on the wall. I will probably end up
taking in a sick red eyed bald biter that urinates in my shoes. While I
am still wearing them. Whata ya want a bet???

Thank you Susan Malone:
