I'm a new ferret owner; I have a MF male named Kenda and he's about 3 months
old. I live in a College dorm w/ 5 other people, so his cage is kept in one
of the bathrooms. I let him out right after I get dressed in the morning,
throughout the day at random, and right after I get home from work (when I
do work). The problem I'm having is this : anytime I walk by the bathroom
he's in to get to the other, or if I use the one he's in, if I don't let him
out (say I'm stumbling in @ like 2:30am like last night), he starts whining
REALLY loud for a few minutes...it eventually trickles off, but he still
does it everytime he hears/smells anybody near the bathroom and he doesn't
get out...is this because he's still a kit or is there something I can do
about this? (Everybody else is home for break, but if he continues this
once everyone's back, there may be a problem).
