Hi. I know of a ferret who is most likely a surgical case for insulinoma.
Based on Dr. Williams presentation at the symposium she would probably
be a good candidate. However, my normal vet in CA, Dr. Dawson, is on
maternity leave. I'm quite worried about this little girl because her
blood sugar keeps dropping. This is all a very new occurrence but over
the past several days, she has started on prednisone and it has been
increased twice, but her blood glucose still continues to drop. Does
anyone have a vet anywhere near the L.A. metro area that is an
experienced ferret surgeon? It would really be great if I could suggest
someone experienced to look at her.

Thank you.

Jean
