Hi All:

Have any of you purchased the alpha trax (by Abbott Labs) canine
glucometer for use in evaluating (fasting) blood glucose levels on
your ferrets? If so where and about how much?

My vet utilizes this model as well as the more accurate one. My ferrets
are usually cooperative enough to get scores from both machines and
there is usually no more differences than 3-4 points.

The majority of my ferrets are four years old or over so I would like
to have one on hand.

Also, has anyone heard any updates on the development of the ferret
specific glucometer?
