Oh my God, that's awful! If it were me, I'd do whatever it took to get
this animal far away from the hands that want to hurt her. And what the
hell does cutting her teeth help? Like vicious animals can be "cured"
with cutting down their teeth, and like an animal is vicious b/c it bites
some idiot's kid sticking its fingers in her cage? I am just so sickened
sometimes by how animals are treated. Let's cut off the fingertips of
someone alleged to have stabbed someone else in self defense, that'll
show them.

When Cora, whose vaccination history was unknown, bit my vet, she was put
under quarantine, and that was deemed satisfactory in my state of MA. It
sucks that the barbaric practice of head chopping (still sadly the only
way to definitively rabies test) is still the first choice for so many
officials in cases where it's not primarily suspected that an animal has
rabies. Too bad they can't spend more energy making sure kids aren't
unattended at such events or that animals can't be gotten at at such
events instead.

Angrily,
April AC
