Hsving had one person who was not satisfied w pers coms I had w vets,
including vet pathologists, nor with viral viability hard data I found
a few other links. Becuase of my eye I can not find many but these came
up easily with searching. 5 ones early in the list specifically mention
shoes as an indirect way to expose animals to Canine Distemper. Others
have other info on indirect exposures, and in my lonbg post sent today
are links to info on how long the virus remains viably infective on
surfaces (like shoes) which is 30 minutes under best scenarios, but
at least 3 hours in typical U.S. inside home conditions, and years if
frozen. Since these were so easy for someone w impaired vision and eye
pain to find I figure anyone can find them or certainly search further.
