>The home page that you posted for Dr. Wallach seems to be entirely about

I received the link from Rosemary Jacobs, a woman who suffers from agyria
due to having used a nasal spray with silver in it as a child. I included
it as the third link in my post because I figured anyone who had bothered
to click on the first two might find the story interesting.

I visited http://www.wwmagic.com/clearlake/silver.html and found most of
the links inoperable. What little information was available is strongly
lacking in facts or proof of any kind.

There is a review of a book written by a "Dr. Hill" whose qualifications
aren't listed anywhere that I can see. The individual who recommends this
book calls himself "Dr. Keith Post, N.D." This man is NOT an M.D. but a
"naturopath" which has nothing to do with the American Medical Association.

This "Dr. Hill" mentions no reliable sources of information but quotes
friends of his, anonymous contacts, and the family cat (ok, it wasn't a
direct quote:) who all took colloidal silver and were amazed by the
results. The rest of the page is pockmarked with the word "anecdotal."

Interestingly enough, the "references" link cannot be accessed and although
the site itself does not sell colloidal silver, it is located at an online
shopping mall which will sell you the book.

I'm not dissing anyone who gives colloidal silver to their ferret. I'd
just like to say that if you see a substance mentioned on the FML, PLEASE
take the time to research it yourself. When my ferrets are ill I give
them the best supportive care I can and save my money for vet visits
instead of homeopathic miracle cures.
