Whoa - you have to take in water content to translate!!!!!
 
Dry - 30% protein with 10% water (moisture)
Canned - 13% protein with 75% water = about 39% protein if dried.
 
Canned Iams is a very good diet for ferrets with teeth problems.  I've had
to have some teeth removed from my older ferrets and they love to get canned
cat food because they can't chew the dry any longer.
