You want sample sizes of food?  TheFerretStore.com has little 4(?) oz.
sample bags of their food.
 
Don't want to spend $20 for ferret food?  Well, first of all, for $20 you
get a LOT of The Ferret Store's food.  And, in the long run, think of the
money you'll save by having healthy ferrets!  Vets cost more than good
food.
