Hello to you all,

On the subject of fresh food, I feed mine mincemeat and chopped steak every
night in addition to their IAMS.I also know of people who give their furries
rabbit mince, liver and the odd chicken wing to chew on. Chicken wings are
excellent for their teeth, but mine are not too keen. The vet recommended
fresh meat for their teeth, steak is better than mince because the chewing
cleanses the teeth better. On another subject many people here have found
PROGRAM not to be that effective on ferrets. We now have another product on
the market called FRONTLINE which is a spray that you spray on and leave .It
leaves them free of fleas for up to 8 weeks.I have used it with great
success. It is cheaper than Program and simply easier to use.It can be used
on kittens and puppies as young as 2 weeks.

[Moderator's note: Approval to sell FRONTLINE in the US is expected sometime
this year - perhaps by the summer. Reports from countries where it has been
sold are encouraging. BIG]
