My boy Chance has turned into quite a little devil.  He loves to run
behind the bed, and unplug the power cable that's stuck in the wall.
The *PROBLEM* with this, is that in my room, there is only one outlet,
thus everything is run off of an extension cord snaked around the
room.  YANK goes chance, OUT comes the plug, and OFF goes anything and
everything electrical (including but not limited to: computer, printer,
fan, clock... ydda yadda ya).
 
While looking around my local Walgreens t 4:30am (what better thing is
there to do after one gets off of a 12 hour shift), I found a solution!
It's called the No Tug Plug.  Nice little replacement cover for your 2
outlet 3 prong jacks.  No more power outages! :)
 
Also, before any of you start to yell at me about the ferret biting at
power cords, i didn't say he was biting, i said he was yanking.  I've
seen him do it!  He looked right up at me, then grabbed the plug in his
hands and pulled... little stinker!
 
He's been known to do this with various other 'plugable' objects as
well... phonelines that have lost their clips... same for network
cables (i.e. suddely my internet turns off... hah!)...
 
Also, I'm trying the sugestion of using a puppet to wrestle with.
 
On the same shopping trip I bought a Pooh puppet. Came home,
wrestled... and pooh later got dragged to the hideyhole.
 
*Sigh* I thought Stinky was weird with his wallets, but Chance!!...
Chance takes his pooh to bed! (ha ha, punny, very punny).
 
Quick question about the whole Di B.  thing... was she ever a member of
the FML?  Maybe that could be a good place to start if your doubting your
local ferret shelter as well!  Everyone does what they can, we know this.
I don't think that the anonymous poster ment to cause trouble or point
fingers, s/he just wanted to ask a simple question, but missed that it
had already been answered, atleast in relation to rockey's... Too many
people can publicly account for the care that those fuzzies are
recieving.  Don't take offence when someone questions your operation,
seeing as it's going to usually be comming from someone who cares as
much as you do yourself.  You care, so your shelter gives all it has,
and they care so they ask to make sure.  Just think though.  Your on
this list because you care.  We're all one big happy family in the end,
joined for a cause.
