Apparently all this time I was under the mistaken assumption that on one's
wedding day, the bride and groom are the main attration....not so!

After not getting to see our boys (Fidget and Hotspur) on her last visit,
my SOs little cousin who is 4 was quite put out. So, when she learned she
was invited to our wedding, she wanted to know if the ferrets would be home
for her to see. Well since we were only going ona short trip afterwards,
we decided to let the boys get babysat in our house instead of farming them
out as we usually do (to my grandmother).

On Sunday afternoon (the wedding was Saturday) the little cousin and her
family stopped by to see my SO's grandma who lives next door. Apparently
the little girl wasn't there very long before she leaned over and whispered
to her dad, that maybe she could go see the ferrets now?

So there it was, not the wedding, not the big party, but seeing the boys
that made this trip for her worth while. Makes us humans feel humble I
guess!

Cheers
