Electronic embroidery is fun! But be advised - sharing commercially
prepared designs is definitely TABOO - it violates many copyrights.
There are several sites that offer free designs - those can be shared.
Other sites offer designs for purchase, either ina multi pak or as
individual designs. These designs can be used on personal items and
some can be used on items intended for sale but you CANNOT legally
share or resell the designs.

Now, are their embroidery design police running around arresting
misguided sharing people or confiscating items sold? Not likely, but
there may be watchdogs cruising flea markets, yard sales, community
sales and brick and mortar stores. Its best NOT to take a chance. Most
designs I've acquired allow for sale of items the design has been
applied to. But some designs (like Disney or other licensed designs)
CANNOT be used on items intended for sale. You can GIFT the item, but
not sell it with that licensed design.

OESD tends to have detailed, affordable designs that are downloadable.
SImple Google searchs for "free embroidery designs" will take you to
places with tons of designs ( but usually sparse "ferret" designs).

You can also sample an embroidery design program and this may allow
you to digitize your own ferret photo or clip. Beware though - machine
embroidery gets addictive! Before you know it your mind is reeling with
ideas and trips to the Good Will store have you bringing home blankets,
towels and clothing to practice on!

Visit "Ann the Gran", and "The sewing forum" for great help and
designs!

Have fun!
