I'm putting this request in for my friends Karen and Chuck. Not an easy
time to write. Could you please check to see that Sweet Sam came across
the bridge easily on Good Friday.

Here is Sam's story...
Sam had been at the shelter for quite some time and Juliana and the rest
of us had loved on this little bald boy, and got lots of kisses from him.
He had to be by himself because he didn't like other fuzzies. About the
time of the Ferret Symposium here in Atlanta, Karen and Chuck decided to
take another foster into their home with the rest of their fuzzies. Sam
knew he was going to get lucky, so he gave lots of extra special kisses
to both Karen and Chuck. Of course, they took him home. They really
loved Sweet Sam because he was such a wonderful kisser and a great lap
ferret.

They heard about the Melatonin Implants, and decided that even if he was
still a foster, he was theirs and they were going to do whatever that
could for him so he got the implants. Low and behold .... All of the
sudden .... In a month he had a nice fine fuzz of hair on his tail... one
more month and he had fuzz all over him. The strangest part was that he
now wanted to check out the other fuzzies, and really didn't want to sit
still and be a lap ferret. He was feeling fine, feisty and truly ferrety
again. Sam was doing great! He had licked one problem, but the
Insulinoma was a really tough one, and Sam stayed as long as he could.

Could you let Sam know that his parents, Karen and Chuck miss him very
much? We are all interested in what type of coat he chose once he got
to the bridge because he was naked in the beginning then he had a nice
chocolate coat when he left. Sam loved to play in the tubes and explore
outside, he played in his tube everyday after he ate his chicken baby
food. He also loved ferretone even when he didn't want to eat anything
else.

He doesn't know anyone, so could you see if he would like to play with my
Farris or Paco, or some of Juliana's that have gotten there before him.

Thanks,
Florence
