Hi! Wanted to tell everyone about a new ferret toy we recently
"discovered." We thought the idea of getting a small plastic kid's swimming
pool (got the idea from an article in issue #16 I believe of Modern Ferret
about ways to keep the kids from being bored) was great, except we weren't
so excited about the water mess that would occur from two maniac jumping
ferrets. We decided instead to fill the pool with shredded paper brought
home from my husband's office. The boys think that this is just great!!!!!
You should see them bouncing like possessed rabbits through all the fluff or
tunneling like crazy. They love to wrestle in it also, and I have caught
them jumping off of things into the pool (do you think they might be
practicing for the high dive competition?). I haven't had any problems with
it - seems to be safe - no paper cuts or excess dust. As long as you don't
mind picking up small pieces of paper constantly!!!!

Hmmm . . . the lampshade is moving across the floor - I either have
ghosts or Clint is on the loose again! Better go rescue the shade and fish
Arnold out of the dresser again. Arnold likes to sleep in the underwear
drawer unfortunately! :^) He seems to take after our first ferret Millie in
that respect! (along with sharing a taste for Cookie Crisp cereal)

Gotta Go see what the boys are into now!

Kevin and Laura

Clint (go ahead -make my day - just try to take the lampshade back!)
Arnold ( I'll be back - in the dresser, that is!)
Millie, ferret angel (good job boys! But you've still got a lot to learn
before you can fill my shoes,er paws!) 0 :)
