Hi Julie - you have a slight mistake in hebrew!  "Samor" is the Marbled
Polecat (from the Vormela family) and the domestic ferret M. p. furo) is
"kha-moose" (guttural kha)....
 
Fast intro - I am Bev and I work at the Jerusalem Zoo in Israel - I have 5
ferrets at home and keep a "very" close eye on the 9 we have at the zoo....
