With all of the on-line pet store bru-ha-ha, I would like to point out one
of the good guys in this industry.  I happened to stop by Petopia.com and
I noticed that they are starting a program called the Million Pet Mercy
Mission.  The purpose of the program is to help place shelter animals in
good homes, thereby reducing the number of animals that are euthanized.  It
sounds as though ferret shelters may be eligible to become involved and to
benefit.  Check out the information at Petopia.com, and be sure to let them
know that you appreciate their straightforward desire to help animals
rather than to sell them!
