Hi,

I wanted to comment on the ferret leashes. The one that is cordlike and has
the little nut on it to tighen it and comes wrapped around a cardboard
cutout of a ferret is NOT a good leash to buy. It is very flimsy and comes
apart very easily. What bothers me most is that I've seen ferret
shelters/clubs selling these at various ferret functions. If you are a
shelter or club, please don't sell these. They are crap. My ferrets have
slipped out of these very easily and they have fallen apart on me at the
most inopportune times.

The good leashes are now marketed by Marshall Farms and are in two pieces,
the harness and the leash itself. The harness is H shaped with one strap
that goes around the neck and the other around the body behind the front
legs. They are adjustable and hold the ferret pretty securly.

Gary

Face piles of trials with smiles, for it riles them to believe that
you perceive the webs they weave, and keep on thinking free.
