hi all,

i think there is no shortage of web sites like this already, but there
seems to be a recurring problem: the owner of the site stops updating.
this pretty much renders the information useless after a few years.

I think the following sort of web site would be much more useable:

## anyone can access the information.

## to add new entries:
* anyone can go to the web site and create themselves a username/password
* they can then log-in and add an entry (by selecting country, state,
  then entering vet name, etc)
* they can edit/delete THEIR OWN entries only

## moderators:
also, a few people would become moderators to the site. the moderators
would have overall control of the site: adding/editing/deleting ANY
entry.

if a moderator is no longer able to do the job (weekly?) they can pass
the username onto a trusted friend to do the job.

any comments/ suggestions?

:)
shona
