Gonzo is about 9 months old, a healthy extremely energetic shelter resident.
He shares his cage with 2 10 month old albino sprites and a 1 1/2 year old
recently altered male.

Even though he is a pet shop early neuter, Gonzo has been hit by spring
fever, and it taking it out on Vega, one of the girls. He is basically,
trying to hump her. He grabs a good hold of the back of her neck and makes
little jerking motions. She hisses a bit and gets annoyed, but mostly lies
there with a resigned expression on her face.

He does this while they are in the cage, and she is trying to sleep. During
playtime, he is perpetual motion, constantly running about, trying to jump
impossible distances and looking for things to steal. He is Ferret
Incarnate!

This behavior has been going on for a few days now, and poor Vega is getting
red spots on the back of her neck.

Has anyone seen this type of behavior in such a young altered male?
