SmallAnimalChannel remains.
http://www.smallanimalchannel.com/ferrets/default.aspx

Bow Tie Press first found -- like a huge number of periodicals
(magazines, newspapers, etc.) -- that subscribers were drifting away
and that also causes the loss of the advertisers who are the main
source of funding for most periodical publications. So, they went to
having fewer physical magazines that came out each year and taking
others online (as happened with Ferrets Magazine). Even though they
are less expensive than creating, printing, and mailing magazines,
websites still cost, though, and so do authors, so there has to be
sufficient readership for the advertisers to remain AND it greatly
helps if the advertisers learn that reading those websites is why
they are making sales.

So, if people want this final resource to remain and hopefully even
grow again with more hired authors in the future they need to read
it often and send others there because the advertisers want the hit
numbers, and those readers need to let the advertisers know that
they are getting their products because the advertisements at

caught their eyes.
