I agree with Cathy that there is definitely a wood pellet shortage. For
several years I have been buying 10 [40 lb] bags of wood pellets from
Northen Tool Company. I bought 10 bags in August and was down to my
last bag by January. When I called to reorder [I have them shipped
to the store so I avoid shipping costs] I was told they are out of
stock. They will not have a new supply until August. [They say it is a
seasonal product.] I then started checking all over for other sources
of wood pellets - ranch supply places, Woody Pets brand, any kind of
wood stove or horse bedding pellets. Nothing.

I grudgingly had to admit that I have to go back to buying 40 pound
bags of Petsmart Exquisicat wood pellets for $15.00 per bag. I get
the 40 lb bags from Northern Tool for $5.61 per bag.

With 7 cats and 9 ferrets, poop happens so I can't do without wood
pellets.
