My heart goes out to anyone out there who has a lost ferret. I can
barely imagine the heartache and horror of the situation. In such a
case I can only imagine searching as close as humanly possible 24 hours
a day.

However, I was thinking realistically (and in helping someone else
search - I saw a lost ferret ad in a local paper) what is the best time
of day to search. Is there a time when ferrets would naturally be out
and about. Hard to imagine a domestic ferrets action in suddenly wild
or natural surroundings. But I was wondering if perhaps there is a time
they would instictually venture out, when it felt more natural or safer
to them.

Any thoughts?

Risa
