The 1996 Ferret Expo, hosted by the AFA, Inc., wil be held at the New
Carrolton Ramada Hotel Exhibition Center, 8500 Annapolis Rd, which is
located directly off Exit 20 B (Rt.  450 West) I-95 Washington Beltway.
Time: 10 AM to 5 PM.  Entrance fee for non-AFA members: 15 and over $5., 15
- 7 years $2.00, under 7 free.  Why so expensive?  Well, this is an
expensive place to rent, but you'll be more than compensated by all the free
info on the latest health and legal topics, the opportunity to see hundreds
of ferrets, and the chance to buy stuff you can't live without, like ferret
jewelry, coffee mugs, and stained glass windows!
 
Throughout the day there will be lots of fun stuff, like raffles,
best-decorated cage and best-dressed ferret contests.  You may bring your
ferret into the show hall ONLY IF you bring along proof that it was
vaccinated against canine distemper with FROMM-D or FERVAC-D between 23
March 95 and 17 Feb 96.
 
I'll probably be helping steward judjing rings all day, but I hope to run
into some of you cyber-weasels there!
