The FHL (not the FML) is down for new posts temporarily, likely till
after Wednesday, because Smartgroups is doing server-wide maintenance.
 
The FHL Archives are on a different carrier and ARE up.  For the answers
there, please, go to http://fhl.sonic-weasel.org.  With years of answers,
including from multiple ferret vets, in the easily searched archives most
health questions can be answered there.
 
Other good sources of stored health data include the FML Archives (whose
addy is in the header of every day's FML and which are also very easily
searched) and a number of fine critical references which link to many
useful pages that have vet articles or are entirely by ferret vets at
the IFC addy: http://www.ferretcongress.org
