Careful about the toothpaste.  We humans spit the stuff out, ferrets
generally won't and it IS toxic.

They'll eat Dr Bronner's given the chance (if they're anything like my
fellas).  When I wash my little ones, I use peppermint soap for the last
lather--it makes them smell sweet and deters any fleas that might jump onto
them.  In any case, both of my guys LOVE the taste of Dr Bronner's.
