Fuzztail knew she was going for a ride. Her Mom always got the
restraining thing out, When they were going somewhere. Fuzztail didn't
mind too much wearing the hold back device, since she knew it meant
exploring new places and scents outside, and sometimes a new animal or
two. She was getting excited, and that meant dancing. Her Mom laughed,
as she did every time she danced about.

"All right silly girl, her Mom chuckled. Let's go." Fuzztail jumped into
her carry bag, and poked her head back out, so she could see where they
were going. She didn't want to miss a single thing. Soon the car they
had gotten into slowed and then stopped. Fuzztail lived up to her name,
as her tail puffed out with anticipation. Mom put on her stay put, and
carried her out to a cement area. There were a few curious people, but
that never bothered Fuzztail. She liked everyone.

She looked over at the grassy area surrounded by the hard gray ground.
She could see that it was full of water, and she wanted no part of that.
She would have to be careful, so she wouldn't fall in that big bath. Mom
was being attentive and warned Fuzztail to watch out for what Mother
Nature had left behind. Fuzztail didn't know who this Mother was, but
she didn't think it was very nice of her to leave all that wet stuff to
spoil Fuzztail's good time digging in the dirt.

Fuzztail got inspired, when the wind blew some leaves across the hard
ground. She decided to show those leaves who was the better dancer. She
leaped. She twisted in mid jump. She frolicked and twirled about, and
did her best sunshine dance of joy. As she cavorted along the edge of
the water, and made one stupendous sideways double twister, she suddenly
found herself standing in the water this Mother something had left.

Much as she hated a bath, this was somehow different. Her Mom was
laughing hard and was bent over. Fuzztail figured since she was all
ready wet, why not just finish her dance. She started bouncing about,
and found that splashing could be fun. So much fun in fact, that she
was thinking this Mother Nature person couldn't be all bad. She splashed
as she bounced, sending crystal drops flying.

Her Mom seemed to be folded in half now, and was making unusual croaking
noises. All the people watching her seemed to have the same problem her
Mom had, all were making funny noises. She danced over to her Mom, and
jumped out of the water, droplets falling off and spotting the hard gray
ground. Fuzztail shook herself, making those close by back up fast. Her
Mom picked her up, and snuggled her close, wet fur and all. "Fuzztail,
she giggled, you are something special." Fuzztail rubbed her face on
Mom's shirt, and showed her fuzzy grin. She knew she was special, and
that Mother Nature did good work too.
