Dear Witty,
 
No more do you play with tennis balls,
with socks and toys or feet.
You left behind the soft warm bed
The comfy place and treats.
 
You left the ones who showed you love,
much later in your life,
After you lived through pain and fear
after a world of strife.
 
You left us for a greater place
a ferrets job to do.
To teach that there is always hope
and trust waiting anew.
