Try coating the pill in pancake syrup, even the cheap stuff.  My dog loves
it.  Or you could try slitting a raisin open (I'm serious, just buy packaged
raisins and soak them in water for an hour or two first) and stuffing the
pill inside and giving the ferret the raisin mixed with two or three
"normal":) raisins.
That should help.
