This is for Jones who asked how to keep fuzzies cool in hot weather.
Either a frozen water bottle or ice pack (make sure the ice packs are
the heavy white plastic & not the soft gel type packs so ferrets will not
chew thru them.  Freeze them solid.  Put them in your ferret's cage under
a towel, or wrap a towel once around it.  If your ferret gets too hot it
will lie close to it & it will keep him cool!  This is a good way too to
travel with your fuzzies if your car does not have air conditioning.
