Ok, I'll fess up to the Ferret Rice Box.  First it was not my idea, it is
the idea of a really neat ferret mom.  I only made a few changes to the
rice box itself and posted it on the FML.  My friend doesn't have internet
service and she said it was great to share something the ferrets absolutely
love with other fert lovers.  The modifications I made were buy a very
larger box, so I bought a 30 gallon Sterilite container with it's lid.  I
bought a 50lb bag of rice to go in it.  I cut 2 round holes, slightly
smaller than the clear dryer tubes ends.  I then cut 2 larger wholes in the
lid.  I took the ramps from a midwest cage and drilled holes to securely
fit the ramps into the box.  Now there is 4 ways in, not much rice goes
anywhere but it the hoses, but they are long enough to where rice stays in
the tube, so then all you have to do is pick up the tubes high enough for
the rice to go back into box.
 
I figured while I'm fessin' up and I know everyone has wondered who
Dervish's Ferret Godmother is - Moi.
