Has anyone given sub Q fluids to their ferret before?  I remember a web
page that had tips and directions?  Does anyone know where that is?
 
I am a nurse and have given plently of IM shots before, but not too mant
sub Q's and never to a ferret before.  I am going to talk to my vet about
it, but I think it might be a good idea.
 
It's usually Lactated ringers, right?  what size needle and what amount
usually?

P.S this is for a ferret who is post op 3 days and not eating and
drinking well and she is tenting when pinched
