Very true.  We've had 8 year olds who were helped by surgery, in one case a
major surgery.  What sort of anesthesia is your vet using, Amber?  You can
always get the vet to go with go with just Isofluorane (sp?  Hey, I am not
near a resource right now.), that will take the risk down incredibly well
unless you have an individual who has a personal problem with that (rare)
such as allergy.
