Well, I've returned from Seattle and reclaimed one ferret - Potpie - from
her sitter's. The others are still off causing problems, hopefully. :)

Anyway, I'd left Potpie with my mother for a week while i was gone, and my
mom was THRILLED. I dont think i've seen her so excited about anything
since i moved out of the house - and she'd lived with me and Potpie for
two years not so long ago. I think it was the novelty of 'babysitting' my
'kid' that she got to appreciate but didnt have to keep, because mom was
full of all sorts of stories about how wonderful and cute and well-behaved
my ferret was. Hmph. As if i dont know that already..

Anyway, it seems i'll be reclaiming one more ferret than expected - mom's
friend's son has two ferrets, one of which is 'aggressive.' they're afraid
it'll bite their three year old daughter, so i'm going to take him and
hopefully find a home for him. Once i've had him at my house and handled
him for a few days I'll post to the list and see if any of y'all are
interested. But, no counting ferrets before they've nipped.

Happy cold wet obsessive shopping season,

Melissa
